NROC Course Content to be Removed June 24, 2014

Dear NCCCS Faculty,

Many of you have been making use of the digital media from the NROC collections through our NCCCS system-wide NROC membership.  This message is to alert you that the University of California-copyrighted courses found under the NROC Collection will be removed from the NCLOR on June 24, 2014. The content will be exclusively distributed through their UC Scout program thereafter.

Per our license agreement with NROC, after the June 24th the resource links in the NCLOR will be removed. Faculty should remove the links in all LMS based courses that reference this content as well. If the resource links are not removed, the link will not longer function correctly. More reminders about this issue will be sent to as the date goes nearer.

The NCLOR staff regrets the inconvenience these changes may cause but we must abide by our license agreement. Other NROC content will be made available but there will not a one-to-one replacement of subjects and/or resources.

Jonathon Sweetin
