New Digital Literacy Series Added to NCLOR logo Today, 92 new digital literacy resources were made available in the NCLOR’s Open Educational Resource collection. This new series contains content from the Public Library Association’s website “”. is an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant-funded project to create an online hub for digital literacy support and training. Included in this series is a collection of self-directed tutorials for end-users to increase their digital literacy, and a community of practice for digital literacy trainers to share resources, tools, and best practices. For user convenience, the resources available from this series have been organized by course topics, courses, and activity modules within the NCLOR.

All content available in this series is free to use and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported LicenseCreative Commons License

The following list is an outline of the new content in order of topic name, course name, and the number of activity modules in each course.

  • Since these resources are open, you can access the series via Guest Access here: DigitalLearn – Public Library Association or log into the NCLOR and click on the More button on the left menu bar. Then click the Resource Series link and then click the DigitalLearn – Public Library Association link.
  • If you are K-14 faculty, you can add the links to the resources directly to your LMS based course. (learn how)
