Today, 180 new Health eLearning Media (HELM) Open resources were made available in the NCLOR’s Open Educational Resource Collection. This new series contains nursing and health services content. The HELM Open learning and teaching resources are high quality, interactive peer-reviewed resources developed by University experts over a 10 year period. HELM resources provide 15 minutes each of engaging multimedia bite-sized learning for you to use in your learning and teaching. This collection is a series of nursing and health services related items.
The some of the subjects covered in this series are; Nursing, Death and dying, Pharmacology, Physical and occupational therapy, Geriatric Nursing, Public health, Disease, and Physiology.
All HELM Open content available in this series is free to use and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
The NCCCS courses that these resources may supplement are; NUR3101, NUR3240, NUR3252, NUR101, and NUR117.

Six new learning resources have been added to the NC BioNetwork collection of the NCLOR. The newly added resources included in this addition are: Performance Verification of an Analytical Balance (video), Strawberry DNA Extraction (video), pH Meter Calibration (video), Manufacturing Safety & Awareness (tutorial), Preparing for the Professional Interview (tutorial) and the VINSIM – Virtual Vineyard (Simulation). These new resources join the other 53 outstanding resource also included in the NC BioNetwork collection.
